As we head into the second week of the 6 nations, it is still all to play for as we continue to get a feel of the teams and who will be competing for the top spots with this week throwing up one of the biggest clashes yet.
Let’s take a look at the matches and see who is looking likely to establish themselves at the top of the pack going into week 3.

Wales v Ireland
While this is only the second game of the 6 Nations, it could be an early decider as these two went into the competition with the best odds to go on to win it outright.
Thanks to England losing last week, the odds for these two sides have already improved and so the team who wins will go on to their next matches as the team to beat in the tournament, but it is a tough one to call.
The current holders Wales will be going into the this with the edge after cruising to 42-0 win over Italy in their opening game, which, as well as given them a 42 PD, gave them an extra point over the other two winning teams last weekend, France and their upcoming adversaries, Ireland. After a bit of a hairy fixture against Scotland, where they won by just 7 points, the most successful six-nations teams ever, Ireland, will need to reassert themselves in this match if they wish to look dominate going forward.
Both teams now have one of their easiest matches out of the way now and will have tough fixtures against England and France respectively next, so taking home the points here will be crucial. Ireland are being marginally favoured going into this match by PaddyPower with 8/13 opposed to Wales’ 7/5.
