The site is shortlisted amongst eight of the UK’s best new casino and betting comparison and portal websites.
smartphonegambler.com was relaunched in 2019 with a broad focus on sports betting, casinos and bingo in the United Kingdom, now also embracing several niche areas, such as political and entertainment betting.
IGB Affiliate Awards 2020
Every year, the iGB Affiliate Awards bring the affiliate industry together to celebrate some if its finest achievements in the previous year. Affiliate sites, programs and operators are nominated across as a total of 21 categories.
In a change continued from last year, voting during the nomination process has been dropped due to the previous system being open to abuse. Instead, nominations are now decided by a board of industry experts.
For judging, the most important criteria will be the previous 12 months, and not what has happened earlier. That is especially the case for the ‘Best Newcomer: Affiliate’ category that smartphonegambler.com has been nominated for.
The judges will look at the level of traffic and growth since launching, how the affiliate site is innovative, and what really differentiates it from the crowd. The judges will also consider the affiliate site’s business prospects for the coming year and its wider strategy.
The iGB Affiliate Awards have been around for more than a decade and are considered some of the most prestigious in the industry. The award ceremony takes place during the iGB Affiliate London 2020 conference, which will be happening on February 6th and 7th this year.
