Premier League matchdays are coming thick and fast, and this weekend produces another feast of football for us to indulge in. Having already had to wait 30 years for their last top-flight title, Liverpool fans were forced to endure another 3-month postponement before rightfully being declared Champions thanks to Manchester City’s surprise loss at Stamford Bridge.

The Reds will now look to push on and surpass City’s mammoth total of 100 points to cement their own place in history.

The relegation scrap is in full swing with Aston Villa, Bournemouth, West Ham and Watford looking to tussle to avoid the drop.

Before the 3-month break, Leicester looked nailed on for a Champions League place but the resurgent form of a new-look Manchester United, Chelsea’s persistence, and an unlikely challenge from Wolves have seen Rodgers’ men come under threat.

What are the bookies predicting?

Liverpool vs Aston Villa

Liverpool’s imperious home form is unblemished so far this season. 16 games played and 16 wins with an eye-watering 44 goals scored and just 12 conceded. They go into this game looking to push on and claim an array of Premier League records on the way.

The same can’t be said for Villa who are languishing in the relegation zone and struggling to find any sort of form. Liverpool may look to make use of their squad in the remaining fixtures which may give Villa some hope, but we’re backing Klopp’s men to finish the season in style.

Chelsea vs Watford

As Leicester stumble towards the conclusion of the season, Frank Lampard’s Chelsea look to pounce and steal third place. With impressive home wins over Chelsea and Man City since the restart, the Blues will be looking to condemn the Hornets to a third straight defeat and edge them closer to relegation.

Pulisic is looking to continue his fine form since play resumed, having netted against both Chelsea and Aston Villa, he will fancy his chances against a weary-looking Watford defence.

Manchester United vs Bournemouth

Bruno Fernandes appears to have single-handedly transformed Manchester United’s season. With two goals against Brighton to help United go 15 games in all competitions without defeat, the Portuguese attacking midfielder will be looking to add to his tally against a hopelessly out of form Bournemouth side.

Eddie Howe’s men haven’t picked up a point since the restart, conceding seven and scoring just once. There’re contrasting fortunes for Solskjaer’s United though, who have secured back to back 3-0 wins in the Premier League.
