This is because Wales is in second place overall having played two matches, whereas Fiji is in third place having played three matches. Wales could well beat or tie with Australia, which only has one match yet to play. Given Wales is ahead of Fiji and has played one less match, it’s not looking likely that Fiji will overtake Wales. Of the three matches Fiji has played so far, it’s only won one: the country scored 45 points in its match against Georgia, which only managed a score of 10. As for the other two matches Fiji has played, it lost by three points against Uruguay and by 18 points against Australia.
